Will Najib answer the RM2.6b question today?

The day has arrived for questions on the RM2.6 billion ‘donation’ allegedly found in Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's personal bank accounts to be answered in Parliament.
It is also expected that answers relating to SRC International’s RM42 million – also allegedly deposited into Najib’s bank account - are to be provided, five months after this was exposed by The Wall Street Journal and Sarawak Report.
However, it is not yet clear when the answers will be given today – the last day of this year’s parliamentary session - or if Najib will be the one giving them.
Najib's motorcade was spotted in Parliament today, but Malaysiakini understands that the premier may get a minister to answer on his behalf.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Azalina Othman Said previously told the media that answers to the scandal would be given during question time, which starts at 10am.
But there are no questions relating to the RM2.6 billion ‘donation’ in today's list of parliamentary queries.
According to Astro Awani, before the first motion is tabled at 11.30am, a minister will take the floor and cite standing order 14 (1) (i).
"This will allow a minister to give an explanation to the Dewan Rakyat. The RM2.6 billion issue is not listed in the order paper today," a source told the news station.
