MAHATHIR AND THE ANC HAVE BEEN DEFEATED

Yes, when one needs to prove innocence instead of the accuser having to prove guilt then everyone is going to end up in jail, even Dr Mahathir who has been accused of stealing RM100 billion or more of Umno’s money.
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
It was 13 months ago that the move to oust Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak was launched. The plan was that Najib would be ousted within six months, which means mid-2015 thereabouts. But it did not happen. Instead, those who were plotting against him were the ones who were ousted.
This was what Clive Kessler of the University of New South Wales said: “Najib has the party and all major institutions locked up, he still has a great war-chest [I presume] and he has an excellent defensive blocker team now playing a very strong game out in the field, headed by Apandi.”
Najib realises that political position without political power, such as that of his predecessor Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, is pointless. This reality came in when Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and the ANC (Anti-Najib Campaign) started their attacks.
The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), in particular the Special Branch, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Bank Negara (BNM), the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC), his deputy, Muhyiddin Yassin, and so on, were all working against him.
So the first thing Najib needed to do was to put all these people in their place and demonstrate who is the boss, and then get rid of and replace all those irritants and nuisances.
The MACC appears to be a different type of problem, though, because that agency has the tendency of playing the role of assassin. The lawyer Rosli Dahlan and ex-CCID Director Ramli Yusuff case is a classic example of how the MACC can be employed to assassinate those who are in the way of a greater plan.
And Najib was in the way so he needed to be assassinated and for that you call in the MACC and employ them to do that job. There is, however, a MACC within the MACC. In other words, certain officers are conducting their own sideline business and are issuing statements as if these are official statements by the MACC.
One such officer is the MACC Director for Special Operations, Bahri Mohamad Zin, whose wife is facing financial problems according to this report (READ HERE). Hence there is every reason to suspect that he may be on the take. Probably he can show us some evidence to prove he is not on the take.
The MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed said that the Commission would take action against any of its officers who have been giving unauthorised briefings to the media and who make various allegations. Abu Kassim said this would not be tolerated and action would be taken against those rogue officers.
“I am instructing that a police report be filed so this matter can be independently investigated. MACC officers must uphold the highest ethical standards and will be held to account for the oath of office that they have taken,” said Abu Kassim.
So there you have it. The chief of the MACC himself has said that some of his officers have gone rogue. This means they are not acting on behalf of the Commission but are ‘independent’. And these rogue officers such as Bahri have probably gone independent to make some money on the side to help settle his wife’s financial problems.
Have you noticed that the ANC and the opposition Pakatuns are no longer talking about RM42 billion of 1MDB’s money disappearing into thin air? Of course, people like Rafizi Ramli and Tony Pua are still screaming about the matter. But then they have no choice. If not then what are they going to scream about?
And the ANC and the opposition Pakatuns are extremely unhappy that the Attorney General has classified the RM2.6 billion donation case as NFA (no further action). They still insist that the RM2.6 billion came from 1MDB and they want Najib to prove it did not.
I suppose this is just like Anwar Ibrahim being convicted and sentenced for sodomy because he could not prove he did not bugger his wife’s driver, Azizan Abu Bakar. I also heard that Anwar’s wife, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, filed for a divorce (and then withdrew the action) due to Anwar’s penchant for boys. Can Dr Wan Azizah prove she did not?
Yes, when one needs to prove innocence instead of the accuser having to prove guilt then everyone is going to end up in jail, even Dr Mahathir who has been accused of stealing RM100 billion or more of Umno’s money.
So why does Dr Mahathir really want Najib ousted? We shall talk about that in the next article.
