Kit Siang: Ahmad should show SPM cert first

KUALA LUMPUR: Suspended Gelang Patah MP Lim Kit Siang wants Kedah Menteri Besar-designate Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah to produce his SPM certificate before the swearing-in ceremony on Thursday. “He should end once-and-for-all the rather undignified rigmarole about whether he has SRP or SPM qualifications.”

“Unless Bashah could not produce any SPM certificate at all.”

Lim, who is also DAP Parliamentary Leader, said that “this is one of the chores Bashah should clear up before he takes his oath as Menteri Besar of Kedah”.
