Umno man blasts 'pig attitude' Nazri for his 'dog insult'

Pagoh Umno deputy chief Ismail Mohamed has likened Nazri Abdul Aziz’s attitude to a pig after the minister likened his boss Muhyiddin Yassin to a “biting dog”.
“Many people have asked me why, as the Pagoh Umno deputy chief, I have not defended Pagoh Umno chief Muhyiddin Yassin against the insults levelled by Nazri.
“I say in my heart, if someone has the attitude of a pig, they will poke (provoke) blindly.
“There is nothing to be said, that is how Nazri’s attitude is. It’s a waste of time,” Ismail said in a text message to Malaysiakini.
Ismail said it was better to focus on safeguarding Johor Umno from those who want to destroy the party.
Yesterday, Nazri, an Umno supreme council member, had likened Muhyiddin to a dog biting at the party’s leg, and that this was making things difficult for Umno.
Nazri said this after Muhyiddin (photo) stepped up his criticism of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, who is plagued with financial scandals, including the discovery of RM2.6 billion in his personal bank accounts.
Ismail criticised Nazri, who is also tourism and culture minister, for similarly talking-down Umno veteran Rafidah Aziz for criticising the government.
“It is the attitude of some with positions in Umno or the government to ridicule well-meaning former Umno leaders who speak on certain issues,” he said.
Nazri, apart from slamming Muhyiddin, had also called Rafidah a “nobody”, whom people would not listen to.
Rafidah had reminded Umno leaders of the tale of the emperor with no clothes and urged them to speak the truth, instead of saying only what the leaders want to hear.
Najib has denied any wrongdoing and attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali has also cleared him, but the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission is appealing the decision not to prosecute the prime minister.
Muhyiddin last week also fired salvos at Apandi for not having the courage to prosecute the prime minister. -Mkini
