Amid resignation calls, Najib thanks netizen for kind words

Amid mounting calls for his resignation over alleged financial scandals, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak said a little act of kindness can go a long way to help motivate him to keep on going.
Najib was responding to a message on his Twitter account from Harbinder Kaur, a family member of the MH17 crash victim, Karamjit Singh.
“Received this lovely card from Mdm Harbinder. Thank u for your kind words.
"It’s little things like this that motivates me,” he said in his Twitter and Facebook account postings last night.
In the card, Harbinder thanked Najib for his profound contribution to provide financial assistance for her son, Annarpal Singh’s education.
“Your kindness will be remembered and treasured in our hearts. May you be blessed with all the graces you so deserve. Sincere thanks,” Harbinder said in her message.
According to Bernama, the late Karamjit was a safety adviser with ExxonMobil and was on his way back to Kuala Lumpur after working at an oil rig platform in Usan, Nigeria, when the tragedy struck on July 17.
The Malaysia Airlines plane was believed to have been shot down by a missile in eastern Ukraine, near the Russian border, while on its way from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.
It was carrying 283 passengers and 15 crew members.
