KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar said the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) issue is still under police investigation.
However, he said the police will investigate the matter in more detail after it is tabled in Parliament.
“The report from the National Audit Department (NAD) and Public Accounts Committee (PAC) report have to be tabled in Parliament first.
“I understand that NAD has prepared the report.
“So we are waiting for it to be tabled, then we will know the contents of the report. If there is an offence, then we will investigate.
“The documents are at the Auditor-General’s office… let them submit the report,” he told a press conference after a parade in conjunction with the 209th Police Day at the Police Training Centre (Pulapol) here today.
