Not too late to negotiate PKR-DAP seat clashes, says Anwar

There is still time for Sarawak PKR and its DAP counterpart to negotiate the clashes in six seats in the state election, jailed former opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim said.
He urged the two parties to discuss the matter to ensure the victory of Pakatan Harapan in seats they are contesting.
"I regret (that this happened in Sarawak state election)," he said when met at the High Court in Kuala Lumpur today.
"For now, I want them to continue to work to ensure that Harapan wins," he said upon arrival at the court complex.
"There is still time for them to try to negotiate, that will be the best," he added when asked about the clashes of the state PKR and DAP in six seats.
Both Sarawak PKR and Sarawak DAP are engaged in multi-cornered fights in the state seats of Mulu, Murum, Simanggang, Mambong, Ngemah and Batu Kitang.
Anwar arrived at the Duta Court Complex to seek leave from the High Court to refer to the Federal Court the issue of whether the Pardons Board’s refusal to pardon him on his sodomy conviction can be challenged.
