JOHOREANS PRAY & RELEASE 100 BIRDS TO WISH SULTAN IBRAHIM GOOD HEALTH

JOHOR BARU – A total of 100 birds were released by a non-governmental organisation at Istana Besar on Saturday to wish Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar good health.
Johor GREAT Welfare Association president Edmund Chua said the release of the birds symbolizes the hope that the Sultan would recover speedily from his recent surgery and to pray for peace in Johor.
“There were about 60 people who gathered and prayed for the health of the Johor ruler,” said Chua before releasing of the birds.
Chua added that groups throughout the state would also hold similar events in the districts.
Sultan Ibrahim underwent successful angioplasty in Singapore earlier this month after complaining of chest pain while exercising. – ANN
