An anonymous businessman allocates a total of RM1,000 for those riding motorcycles below 110cc, with RM4 per motorcycle.
IPOH: An anonymous businessman brought cheers to about 250 motorcyclists today by giving them free petrol at a petrol station near Tambun here.
The businessman allocated a total of RM1,000 for those riding motorcycles below 110cc, with RM4 per motorcycle.
According to the manager of the petrol station, Shanice Low, 42, people began queuing as early as 8am to get a coupon to fill up free petrol at the station.
“It is hoped that more individuals will use this method to help more people in need,” she said when met.
Meanwhile, motorcyclist Muhamad Azlan Ahmad Zambri, 28, said he was very grateful for the contribution.
“Even though it’s only a small amount, it’s enough and meaningful to us,” he said.
A pensioner, Yunus Mat Suri, 62, said the contribution would at least ease the burden of those from the low-income group. -FMT
