Lawyer says cops didn't contact him about convert's whereabouts

The lawyer representing convert K Pathmanathan @ Mohd Ridhuan Abdullah told reporters that police had not contacted him to ask about his client's whereabouts.
Hatem Musa, however said he was willing to assist the cops if they contacted him.
"I will try my best (if police want)," he told reporters, maintaining that he was acting for Ridhuan in the conversion case only and not custody.
Two weeks ago, he told the court and reporters that he managed to contact Ridhuan to receive instructions through a third party.
He did not reveal who the third party was, but said he believed his client was in the country.
Today, Chief Judge of Malaya Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin who chaired the five-member bench asked whether Ridhuan, who had been issued an arrest warrant and police being issued an order to find him, was in court.

Justice Zulkefli told the court that he was concerned over the matter of police being unable to execute the order.
"We do not want the people to say the court is not concerned as we want to know.
"So the warrant of arrest remains unexecuted, and with all the enforcement you (police) cannot trace," he asked.
