Maria Chin released after 10 days of detention



Bersih chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah has been freed from detention under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma), a day before her habeas corpus hearing.
She has been detained for 10 days.
"Maria is free!" reads Bersih's official Twitter this afternoon.
Bersih added that the candlelight vigil at Dataran Merdeka tonight will go on as scheduled.
