MCA president Liow Tiong Lai has been questioned if speaking of justice is not welcomed during Christmas time.
DAP's Kluang MP Liew Chin Tong was responding to Liow, who condemned DAP secretary-general for marring the Christmas spirit with his justice
"What is Liow talking about? That Malaysia is democractic and that you are not supposed to talk about justice, and right and wrong, during Chritmas?" he asked on Twitter.
Liow reportedly said Lim was bringing "negativity" by accusing Malaysia of being a "failed state" and to speak of erosion of democratic rights in his Christmas message.
"We have to remind him that this is the celebration of the nativity and not negativity, which sadly has consumed his life.
"This is the time of festivities and of families coming together. We are also blessed that Malaysians are able to celebrate Christmas peacefully," he is quoted by The Star as saying.
Liow also chided Lim for his "estranged relationship with Chinese media" and have allegedly turned on the media who helped him to succeed in the general election.
“You don’t have to believe me. Ask DAP members, Penangites, the press and businessmen.
"He is also the first CM to quarrel with civil society - the groups which supported him," he said.- Mkini
