My comments :  I believe the North Korea agenda is not being run by Trump but by the Pentagon. There is a real danger coming out of North Korea. And Trump has taken possession of the problem.

The 33 year old  Kim Jong Un guy is a real nutjob, perhaps worse than that 30 year old Saudi Deputy Crown prince nutjob.

Kim Jong Un has a very bad habit of dropping ballistic missiles in the Sea of Japan (between Korea and Japan) and once in the Pacific Ocean (flying over Japan).

Soon after Trump appointed Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State, Tillerson visited China, South Korea and Japan to discuss the North Korean threat. 

Then  that Chinese State Councillor Yang Jiechi met Trump in Washington again to discuss North Korea.

Now President Donald Trump and President Xi Xinping are meeting in Florida on April 6-7th at Trump's estate in Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida to discuss North Korea.

Maybe something big is on the horizon. 

It could be a military strike (coordinated by the US, China, Japan, South Korea and Russia playing standby)  to take out Kim Jong Un.

Or they could engineer an internal putsch from inside North Korea to get rid of Kim Jong Un.

I think the North Korean state (the last remaining vestige of the Cold War era) will be disbanded. Some Russian folks say that if Kim Jong Un is removed, North Korea will :

1. either merge with South Korea (not possible so immediately)

2. merge with China for a period of time 

3. be run by a  pro China regime, along the Chinese "free market" model

2 and 3 will or should prepare North Korea for eventual reunification with South Korea.  The only problem is the moment real estate values go up, people find it difficult to sell. Or they ask very high prices.  If you are a share trader, I think now is the time to buy shares in North Korea.

At least three high level meetings and now a summit between Trump and Xi Xinping, all happening in just over TWO MONTHS - ALL ABOUT NORTH KOREA means something is going to happen soon in North Korea.

If the US, China, Japan and South Korea act together I think that Bad Hair Cut guy stands little chance.

On the upside, Trump can use any positive outcome over North Korea as evidence of peaceful cooperation between the US and China.

Trump is already cooperating with Russia in Syria (plus in Afghanistan and Pakistan).

Trump's grand plan is to make peace with Russia, China, the mother-in-law and eventually even with Mexico and Australia.

He has already stated that  a resolution to the Palestine issue will be be one of the greatest deals any US president could make.  North Korea could be an earlier bonus. 

Resolving North Korea with China, Japan and South Korea will be a major feather in Trump's hat. Big time achievement.
