'Amanah won’t win a single seat in Kelantan'

The son-in-law of the late PAS spiritual leader Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat is certain that Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) will not be able to win a single seat in Kelantan.
Abdul Ariffahmi Abd Rahman, who is Machang PAS information chief, also believes that PAS would retain control of the East Coast state in the next general election.
As for outside of Kelantan, Ariffahmi said Amanah, which is a splinter of PAS, would have to depend on DAP.
“Amanah won’t even win one seat (in Kelantan).
“(Outside of Kelantan) they depend on DAP, so if they are given seats by DAP to contest, then may be, they can win,” he told Malaysiakini when met in Alor Setar yesterday.
Ariffahmi said PAS, on the other hand, has its own strategy to continue administering Kelantan and cited the party's experience in facing five general elections after taking over the state administration from Umno in 1990.

The experiences, he said, were met with wisdom each time during elections, despite various attacks from political opponents.
Alhamdulillah, we are confident that we can face the challenges in the 14th general election well.
“With integrated work movements and help from Allah, insyaAllah we will be victorious,” Ariffahmi added.- Mkini
