PETALING JAYA: It has been over two weeks since S Jacqueline Ratna Dewi, 53, went missing from a nursing home in Section 5, Petaling Jaya.
Jacqueline, also known as Jackie, suffers from depression and epilepsy.
She was last seen at the Multi Care Services nursing home on Jalan 5/37 on Feb 8.
Her aunt, V Arulchelvy, said she had not received any updates on her missing niece since then.
“Neither the caretakers nor her siblings have any news about her or have got back to me about her whereabouts.
“I have been the one who goes to the nursing home every weekend to check on her.
“What I don’t understand is why when there was a problem, the caretakers did not come to me.
“The excuse was that they did not have my phone number, but my house is a stone’s throw from the nursing home,” she said.
Arulchelvy lodged a second missing person’s report at the Petaling Jaya police headquarters on Saturday. An earlier report was lodged by the nursing home caretaker on Feb 11.
Anyone with information on Jackie’s whereabouts is urged to contact Devi at 016-280 0810, 019-360 5898 or Petaling Jaya police headquarters at 03-7966 2222. -FMT
