Dr M says he'll visit Beijing when free

Dr Mahathir Mohamad today said he will visit Beijing once he is able to time-wise.

He said there has been an invitation by Beijing and a visit is in the pipeline.

"I have been invited by Beijing. I wanted to go to Japan because I want to attend the 'The Future of Asia' conference which I have been doing every year.

"I will visit Beijing once I have free time," he told a press conference in Tokyo, Japan.
