The attack against Tun Dr Mahathir and Tun Daim continues. Baling batu sembunyi tangan. The latest being the Petron supplying fuel to the government case.
It is just noise. It is good that there are now THREE oil companies (Petronas, Shell and Petron) supplying fuel to the government. So no one has a monopoly. Let there be more competition. The government (aka taxpayer) has more choice.
Why not allow any and all oil companies to supply fuel to the government? There maybe some investment required of the supplier companies (to maintain certain equipment like pumps, storage tanks etc) plus minimum available quantities - to meet the government's requirements. So maybe not every oil company may meet the requirements. Or wants to.
But who "leaked" this story? All the print and online media carried this story.
Talk is the story was leaked by the Press Secretary to a certain Minister.
The story was clearly designed to embarrass Tun Dr Mahathir.
Or the story (and other such stories) could be camouflage to cover up their own shenanigans.
Some people know what you did last summer. Lets see.
