Bersatu to raise issue of PKR money politics claims at Harapan meeting

Bersatu will raise the issue of money politics allegedly infiltrating the recent PKR election at the upcoming Pakatan Harapan presidential council meeting, said its secretary-general Marzuki Yahya.
Bersatu is concerned that such allegations may impact the Harapan administration, he said.
As such, he said the Harapan presidential council needed to discuss ways to resolve the matter.
"Yes, I think we want to find a solution to this," said Marzuki, when asked if the allegations concerning money politics and internal fighting during the PKR polls would affect the Harapan government.
Bersatu has been against money politics and corruption from day one, said Marzuki, who is also deputy foreign minister.
Marzuki was attending the PKR national congress today at the Ideal Convention Centre in Shah Alam on behalf of his party president Muhyiddin Yassin, who was feeling unwell today.
Also present were Amanah president Mohamad Sabu and DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng.
Both Mohamad and Lim said they were against money politics.
"Let the MACC probe (the allegations)," said Mohamad, who is also defence minister.
"Money politics is wrong, but this is an internal family matter for PKR. If there is any basis, I believe they will take appropriate action. If any party fails to take action, then it is wrong. But let them conduct investigations first," said Lim.
