IF JHO LOW’S PARENTS AS ANGELIC AS HE CLAIMS – SURELY THEY WOULD TWIST HIS EARS & HAUL HIM BACK TO MALAYSIA TO CLEAR HIS NAME, THEIR FAMILY’S NAME & ACCOUNT TO ALL MALAYSIANS FOR HIS ‘CRIMES’: YET THEY RUN OFF LIKE THIEVES & ARE NOW HIDING TOGETHER FROM THE LAW

Low Taek Jho, an accomplice of disgraced former Prime Minister, Najib Abdul Razak, has no right to speak about his rights or the rights belonging to his family unless he is prepared to return to Malaysia to face justice.
Najib, and his wife, Rosmah Mansor, along with other thieves have already been charged, but Jho Low is still holed up in an unknown place. It is just not right for him to hide himself when the nation is faced with many challenges to repay the huge debts created by the mother of scandal.
I find Jho Low’s latest statement disgraceful when he tried to paint his family as the victims of human rights abuses. Fugitives have no rights unless they are prepared to stand trial.
Unless Low pays back every single sen of the rakyat’s money that he has squandered on his crazy party days, he should not even utter a word, except to be prepared to face the music, when he returns to Malaysia.
Every Malaysian is waiting anxiously for his return, so that he can prove his innocence in the court of justice. I applaud the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), especially the present Inspector-General of Police, Abdul Hamid Bador for acting on this case with great urgency, within less than a month of his appointment. This is truly a resemblance of the PDRM’s slogan, “Bersih, Cekap dan Amanah”. Salute!
Back to the Low family. If the Lows had made sound decisions on investments, Jho Low has indeed squandered it away on his chartered flight half way around the world with his celebrity artistes just to celebrate his birthday. At this juncture, I can only say that every Malaysian is waiting for him to celebrate his next birthday behind bars.
If his parents had invested in properties that churned out more profits, Jho Low has lavished himself on the Equanimity that was a major loss to the country’s coffers. What kind of business was Low involved in to be able to afford such an expensive yacht! If anything, we expect Jho Low to pay back every single Sen that he had stolen from the 1MDB which he used to purchase the Equanimity.
By not exercising his rights over the Equanimity, Low is obviously — although we are patiently waiting for the good judge’s verdict — a “guilty party” in the 1MDB scandal, that has turned Malaysia into a laughing stock. We, the citizens of this nation, suffered a great deal of mockery overseas because of his actions. Dare he claim innocence!
Because of the actions of a few men and women, Jho Low and Najib have turned Malaysia into a “kleptocracy at its worst”, quoting the exact words of US attorney-general, Jeff Sessions. For this reason, we think that if he has even one Sen in the bank account, the Government of Malaysia should confiscate it! After all, when he is incarcerated, taxpayers would still have to feed him daily.
I think it is only just for the Malaysian government to forfeit all the properties that he and his family have purchased in the past; considering the magnitude of the scandal, whatever that can be recovered is just a small amount.
The Lows must not forget that, as Malaysians, we have to pay the debts for at least another generation, provided that the country can move forward and we can expand our economy aggressively.
