Woman lodges report after Arab husband disappears with their three kids

KOTA KINABALU: A woman has lodged a police report in Lahad Datu after her Arab husband took their three children and left home following a fight.
Lahad Datu police chief Asst Comm Nasri Mansor said the trouble began when the 43-year-old cosmetics businesswoman received a call from her worker in Lahad Datu on the night of May 18, telling her that her husband had beaten her eight-year-old son.
“The worker told her that the child sustained injuries on his face, neck, buttocks and thigh,” he said in a statement on Friday (May 31).
The man reportedly used a cloth hanger to beat his son.

ACP Nasri said the woman then went to Lahad Datu to take her son for a medical check-up.

However, she did not lodge a police report against her husband, 43, who works in a passport management agency.
On May 29, her husband tried to force her to make a passport for their youngest child as he wanted to take their children back to Jordan.
“The woman refused, and they fought over the matter,” ACP Nasri said.
He added that the suspect, identified as Hani Mosbah Ramadan Al Ayaydeh, threatened to kill the woman and her family, if she refused to hand over their children.
Later, the husband left home with their three children and did not return.
ACP Nasri said the woman lodged a report at about 11.55am on May 30, as she feared for the safety of her children.
“The man left in a white coloured Vigo,” he said.
He urged the public to keep an eye on the said vehicle and to inform the authorities if they see anyone that fits the description of the Arab man with three children until they are found, and the man arrested.- Star
