Amirudin tells Zahid to butt out over 'Mahathir is alone' claim

Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari said Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi should butt out of Pakatan Harapan's political affairs.
This is after Zahid claimed Harapan chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad was "alone" as PKR's Anwar Ibrahim and DAP's Lim Kit Siang were plotting to oust him.
However, Amirudin (photo), who is also the Selangor PKR chief, said Zahid should look in a mirror as the situation was the reverse.

"What is certain is Zahid's allies are dwindling so he shouldn't be saying that Mahathir is alone.
"Mahathir's gaining more support as many leaders, even from Umno, are joining Bersatu and supporting Harapan. So look in a mirror first," he told journalists after attending the Selangor Wanita PKR convention in Shah Alam today.
Amirudin stressed that Mahathir's position is a Harapan consensus and PKR stands by it.
Meanwhile, PKR vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin said there was no need to pay heed to Zahid's assertion as it was natural for the opposition to try and undermine their opponent.
"That is their job, to create doubt," she said at the same function.
Zuraida, who is also the housing and local government minister, said Harapan will ultimately be judged by its performance.
"I see that the ministries and ministers have improved in their performance as they have adjusted themselves," she said. - Mkini
