BY NOW, CHINA SHOULD KNOW MAHATHIR CAMP SAYS ONE THING BUT DOES ANOTHER: ‘CPM WAS THE NO.1 ENEMY’ – IN BID TO ATTACK DAP, EX-IGP, A STAUNCH MAHATHIR LOYALIST, GOES ON TV TO BELITTLE MALAYSIAN CHINESE’S ROLE IN FIGHTING THE JAPANESE OCCUPATION

MANY thanks to former IGP Rahim Noor for his downright opinion of the Communist Party of Malaya (CPM) and the Malaysian People Against Japanese Army (MPAJA). During a program on TV3 on Wednesday night, he ‘corrected’ the perception of some citizens who glorify their insurgency during Japanese and British occupations.
I’m just waiting for Nga Kor Ming, Lim Kit Siang, Tommy Thomas and others who claimed that the CPA should be recognised for their ‘struggle’ before Independence.
But what after Malaya gained its Independence from the British on August 31, 1957. If they claimed of wanting to liberate Malaya from the British, why didn’t they lay down their arms, and in fact fought against the government until December 1989?
It was Hatyai Peace Talks that forced the CPM to end their 41-year of insurgency, after brutally killing thousands of soldiers and civilians. Still, you call it a heroic act? I want Kor Ming and friends answer this only question. Why did the CPM go against the government?

Rahim was precise and sharp. Saying that CPM was the No.1 enemy, he said they were remnants of China Communist Party which wanted to widen their empire in South Asia. Malaya was one of their main target.
When the Japanese occupied Malaya, the MPAJA was formed to contest them, and when the British took over, the CPM fought them on the pretext of wanting to liberate Malaya from ‘the hands on evil forces’.
Not many knew that most of the Chinese in Malaya (and Malaysia now) supported them and the communism ideology for wanting Malaysia to become another communist nation. That is why the CPM was against Independence and hence launched a jungle warfare against the government.
Rahim said, had they won the battle, Malaysia would have become a republic and a communist country by now, and that will also put an end to the monarchy.
So, what is Kit Siang and Kor Ming explanation or rebuttal to Rahim’s statement? Kit Siang, who has a family root in China, should come with a statement as to why he and his Chinese friends glorify the communist insurgency?
By the way, is DAP a communist party? Since its ‘equality’ under the Malaysian Malaysia concept is similar to communism theory, can Kit Siang or Guan Eng as the party secretary-general, the highest office bearer akin to Chinese Communist Party, convince Malaysians that they are NOT COMMUNIST?
Please do it soon…and to Tommy, do you think you are fit to become an Attorney-General for peace loving Malaysians?
I do not wish to go at length!
Thank You Tan Sri Rahim!
