Mahathir Asked Wan Azizah To Make Way For Anwar But She Refused

That is not the reason why Wan Azizah refuses to resign. Mahathir has asked one of his chaps to discuss Wan Azizah’s resignation with her and she screwed that person good and proper. The chap was taken aback that this gentle woman, or what most people thought she was, actually had a more vicious side to her.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad says he cannot appoint Anwar Ibrahim to the Cabinet because there are no vacant posts and no one wants to resign to make way for Anwar. That was yesterday but since the last 24 hours no one from PKR has rushed forward to volunteer to resign to make way for Anwar.
Is that not interesting? Where is the PKR leaders’ spirit of perjuangan and korban? Korban jawatan with salaries and perks of RM1 million a year pun tak sanggup. How to expect them to korban their life for the perjuangan?
Today, Anwar rebutted Mahathir and denied he had asked for a Cabinet position. So, was Mahathir lying yesterday? No, Anwar does not want a Cabinet post. He does not wish to be under Mahathir. He wants Mahathir’s job. Short and simple, he wants to replace Mahathir and soon, over the next few months and, if possible, before the end of the year.
But we all know that. That is not news and is not a secret any longer. There are enough banners and posters all over Malaysian proclaiming Anwar as PM8. There are even pro-Mahathir people or people aligned to Mahathir who are building bridges with Anwar. Hence, when Anwar takes over, they just shift their loyalty from Mahathir to Anwar.

When Dr Mahathir said no one wants to resign to make way for Anwar he meant Dr Wan Azizah

But what many people do not know yet is that Mahathir has, in fact, suggested that Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail resign to make way for her husband to take over. After all, even if something does happen to Mahathir, there is no guarantee Wan Azizah will become the Prime Minister because there is the question of whether Malaysia is ready for a woman prime minister. Maybe in ten years’ time, but today may be too early to talk about a woman prime minister.
Anwar’s circle says Wan Azizah refuses to resign because she is not sure if she does resign whether Anwar will be appointed to replace her. What if she resigns and Azmin Ali is given her job instead?
That is not the reason why Wan Azizah refuses to resign. Mahathir has asked one of his chaps to discuss Wan Azizah’s resignation with her and she screwed that person good and proper. The chap was taken aback that this gentle woman, or what most people thought she was, actually had a more vicious side to her.

There is no way Dr Wan Azizah is going to make way for Anwar

She said some very nasty things about Anwar. She even scolded the chap and asked him whether he knows they (meaning Anwar and Wan Azizah) are no longer together. She did not explain what no longer together meant and the chap did not ask because apparently many people already know what that means.
So what Mahathir said yesterday is true when he said no one wants to resign. And that no one whom he meant, but did not want to name, is Wan Azizah. And if you think this may not be true then go ask Zuraida Kamaruddin, Johari Abdul, Saifuddin Nasution, Dr Rahim Ghouse, Khairuddin Abu Hassan, Azmin Ali, Lokman Noor Adam, etc. They can tell you the whole story regarding why Wan Azizah refuses to make way for her husband.

(MMO) – Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad ended today any speculation of adding Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim into the Cabinet in the near future.
He said this is simply due to the fact that there are no vacancies in the Cabinet at the moment.
“We are not having any change or increase in the number of members in the Cabinet since nobody has indicated that they want to resign, so we have no vacancy.
“Whenever we have a vacancy, we will consider suitable candidates,” he said during a press conference at the Perdana Leadership Foundation here.******************************************************
(FMT) – PKR president Anwar Ibrahim today said he never offered himself to be a minister, following Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s statement that there is “no room” for him in the Cabinet.
“I have never offered myself to be a member of the Cabinet.
“I am tied to the Pakatan Harapan consensus that I should give full space for Mahathir to lead the present Cabinet,” Anwar told a press conference after chairing a meeting of the parliamentary caucus on reform and governance today.
