Give us time, we will deliver - Waytha

Malaysians need to give adequate time for the Pakatan Harapan-led government to deliver its promises, urged Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department P Waythamoorthy (above).
“We respect (dissenting) opinions. But, we can only deliver our promises step-by-step,” he told reporters after officiating SJK (T) Rawang’s school hall today.

When asked about comments claiming that the people are losing faith in Harapan, Waythamoorthy replied the government would still deliver its promises.
“Give us time, we will deliver,” he added.
Meanwhile, Waythamoorthy said the government would provide an additional allocation of RM5 million through the Prime Minister’s Department’s Implementation Coordination Unit to deal with the construction of multipurpose halls and crematoriums that have been stalled due to a lack of funds.
“We have identified 10 places (halls and crematoriums) that have a high proportion of (ethnic) Indians where construction has stopped due to a lack of funds.
“We have applied for the ICU to complete the work and the prime minister has agreed to provide the additional allocation,” he said.
He said the money would be channelled as soon as possible, and all the stalled projects would be completed by the end of the year. - Mkini
