PAS still working to settle Harakah's RM3m debt to printer

A month after the issue was first reported, PAS is still working to settle its mouthpiece Harakah's debt of over RM3 million to its former printer.
PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man told Malaysiakini that they needed time as the procedures for paying a bankrupt company were different.
"We need time and actually we are working towards (settling the debt)," he said.
Last month, PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan confirmed reports that Harakah was in debt to its former printer Angkatan Edaran Sdn Bhd.

He denied that Harakah had deliberately “fled” from the previous company and hired a new printer.
He said Harakah had switched printers because Angkatan Edaran had gone bankrupt.
Angkatan Edaran's former managing director Azlan Jan, however, said debts to a bankrupt company still needed to be paid off. - Mkini
