OMG! ‘PUK****’ MUST BE SECOND NATURE TO NOH OMAR: I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW I SAID IT – UMNO MAN ORDERED TO RETRACT MALAY PROFANITY UTTERED IN PARLIAMENT

KUALA LUMPUR: An MP from Barisan Nasional who uttered an obscenity in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday today claimed he was unaware that he had done so.
Noh Omar (BN-Tanjong Karang) said he might have said “P*****k” in response to RSN Rayer (PH-Jelutong) who had called him “stupid”.
“If I said it, maybe I was not aware,” he said when asked by speaker Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof if he had in fact used the word.
“I re-watched the video, and before I said the word you want me to retract, Jelutong was screaming at me, ‘stupid, stupid’. I was speaking then.
“He (Rayer) got up and immediately called me ‘stupid’. So I don’t know what I said,” the former minister added.
The argument between Noh and Rayer erupted when the former raised the issue of a Sept 29 Facebook posting by the “Nga Kor Ming Superfans” urging Chinese Malaysians upset with the removal of bilingual road signs in Selangor to protest in front of state ruler, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Rayer said Noh should follow the house rules by not mentioning names as the police were also investigating the Pekan MP, referring to former prime minister Najib Razak.
Today, Noh said the Dewan Rakyat had been tarnished by Rayer’s actions.
He added that several opposition members had been kicked out of the hall and suspended, including Baling MP Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim and Pasir Salak MP Tajuddin Abdul Rahman.
“But why hasn’t Jelutong been suspended?” he asked.
Noh said he was prepared to retract the word if the speaker would be firm in the future and kick Rayer out of the Dewan Rakyat if he failed to adhere to the rules.
He also said he was only interested in guarding the integrity of the house.
“It’s okay, I can retract,” he said. “But if you listen to the video, it is clear that the words ‘stupid, stupid’ were uttered by Jelutong.
“So if I retract the word, so must Jelutong.”
Ariff said Noh had in fact uttered the profanity, and ordered both him and Rayer to retract their statements.
Rayer complied, saying: “I admit and retract the statement. He (Noh) is not stupid.”
However, Noh said it was ill-mannered of Rayer to have used the word again.
“Why repeat the word ‘stupid’? You have retracted it. Don’t make me swear again,” he said.
Ariff then said if MPs refused to retract unparliamentary words such as “bodoh” and “stupid”, he would have them booted out of the hall.
