I will take action against 'disloyal reptiles' in BN - Zahid

BN chairperson Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has warned action against disloyal BN politicians, whom he described as 'hopping reptiles'.
Without naming names, the Umno president said these politicians will know how he will react when the time comes.
"We are not reptiles, we are not becoming hopping reptiles (reptilia yang melompat)," he said when officiating the 66th MCA annual general assembly today.
"When we are being tested, we want to see who has become the hopping reptile," he said.

"Don't forget, I am watching. Don't forget, the power to sign the appointment letter to become a candidate is vested on the BN chairperson," he said.
"As of today, I have not taken any action. But when the time comes, don't expect me to sign the appointment letter (to field) those disloyal (as candidates)," cautioned Zahid.
"Remaining silent does not mean that we are not good and want no action.
"When the time comes, you will know what I am going to do," he said as the 1,499 MCA delegates applauded and broke into laughter.
Zahid's remarks come two weeks after 22 Umno MPs, together with Sembrong MP Hishammuddin Hussein met PKR deputy president Azmin Ali for two hours.
Soon after that, Umno supreme council member Lokman Noor Adam accused Hishammuddin of masterminding the meeting with Azmin.
Hishammuddin denied that he made the arragement for both sides to meet.
Umno disciplinary board is probing the matter. - Mkini
