Gov’t premises, holiday homes set aside for frontliners

Malaysiakini

COVORANIRUS | Several government premises and resort homes have been set aside for the use of frontliners battling the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Prime Minister’s Department said it has, through the Land Management Division, prepared two Federal Resort Homes (RPP) and four transit homes to be used as accommodation for frontline workers with the Health Ministry and National Security Council (NSC).
“Common use building (BGS) premises and cafeteria spaces have also been prepared for use by the National Welfare Department as food collection centres for distribution to the public,” said a statement by the Prime Minister’s Department.
It said these measures are being taken as a sign of support and appreciation for the work being done by the frontliners. - Mkini
