Hilman Idham expelled from PKR, others from Azmin's faction may suffer similar fate

KLANG: Gombak Setia assemblyman Hilman Idham (pic) has been expelled from PKR.
Hilman, who is PKR deputy youth chief and the political secretary of former party deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali, was expelled following a meeting at the party headquarters on Sunday (March 1).
PKR Youth vice-chief Mohd Nazree Mohd Yunus confirmed the expulsion.
"He has been sacked by the party ... but we have yet to find out if he was given a letter or was merely informed of the expulsion," said Mohd Nazree.
It is believed another youth member, Nor Hizwan Ahmad, who is former PKR vice president Zuraida Kamaruddin's political secretary, has also been booted out of the party.
According to a PKR elected representative who attended the meeting at the party headquarters, there were calls for action to be taken against all those who were aligned to Azmin.
However, party president Anwar Ibrahim said evidence was needed before accusing party members of misconduct.
"Anwar said once there is sufficient evidence, it should be forwarded to the disciplinary committee," said the elected representative. - Star
