Driving schools allowed to reopen on June 1

Malaysiakini

Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said driving schools will be allowed to reopen come June 1.
Driving schools will be allowed to operate from 8am to 4pm, he said.
“The Road Transport Department (RTD) has set standard operating procedures (SOPs) in line with guidelines set by the Health Ministry and the National Security Council (NSC), like checking the temperatures, sanitising the area outside the office as well as sanitising the vehicles,” Ismail said in his press conference today.
On a separate matter, he reiterated that nightclubs are still not allowed to operate under the conditional movement control order (MCO).
He was responding to a reporter who had asked about nightclubs posting their promotions on Instagram as if they were about to reopen.
“They still do not have permission to open. Those who are seen to have violated the rules, I hope the police or the local council will take immediate action.
“The local council can close (the nightclubs) because they are not allowed to operate,” he said. - Mkini
