Monday Lite : Brader Anwar Kembali Jadi Cikgu Tuisyen Di Yayasan Anda Ke?

OSTB : Do read my comments at the end. Thank you.

Anwar admits disappointment at not becoming PM
Anwar disappointed not being able to become PM after 40 years

(OSTB : Alamak kesiannya. So sad. But what is the problem? Dr Mahathir has resigned and disappeared already. So Brader Anwar just go out and get the majority support lah. Ok here is a short cut - just go out and get 112 MPs to support you lah. You said you are so popular. Itu pun tak boleh ke? Why people do not want to support you?)

72-year-old stressed he would not be able to shoulder burden of PM (in) his nineties

(OSTB :  You would not have been able to shoulder the PM's job even in your 50s lah brader. Jangan angan-angan. Peribahasa 'pungguk rindukan bulan' kalau silap eja boleh jadi hang tau.)

unlikely I would wait until I'm 90 before I can function as leader

(OSTB : Brader, first you must live to be 90 years old.)

Anwar waited almost two years for Dr Mahathir to hand reins to him

(OSTB : Yes he did. Dr Mahathir kept to his end of the bargain. 22 months after becoming PM, Dr Mahathir resigned - quite irresponsibly - and left the scene. TWO MONTHS before the expiry of the TWO YEAR period.

  • All Brader Anwar had to do was step up to the plate  and take over.
  • Brader Anwar, you can Google the meaning of step up to the plate.
  • Bukan maksudnya  hang pi pijak atas pinggan makan nasi  ok.
  • Step up to the plate means something else.
  • You failed to step up to the plate
  • Don't blame Dr Mahathir lah.
dispute over transition date eventually led to PH break up on Feb 24

(OSTB : So it was your own impatience that caused you to miss the bus. You were goaded into making rash and clumsy moves. Including by  this . . . )

Anwar said he will "move forward" if not destined to be PM
he was willing to go into academia

(OSTB : Willing to go into academia? I say brader, hang Bachelors in Malay Studies. Academia apa? Do you think Harvard, Georgetown will lower the bar for you? I don't think Harvard ada bumi quota ?)

Anwar disappointed with Azmin, traitor
willing to work with Dr M "when necessary"

OSTB :  Willing to work with Dr M when necessary? If necessary can bend over (backwards) ??

My closing remarks : A few days ago there was a long comment in this blog - which I approved - written by someone using the name ANWAR IBRAHIM. I know of TWO ANWAR IBRAHIMs, one is the Brader Anwar and the other fellow lives overseas. Of course I am sure there are many other Anwar Ibrahims in the world too.

The long comment was a sort of a review of a book about the global financial system or so  written by some Indian banker.  I don't know if it was Brader Anwar who wrote the comment himself or if it was written on his behalf by one of his supporters - but it would fit into the style of Brader Anwar. To show off that he 'reads books'.  By the way that Indian banker's views are easily disputable and I don't think Brader Anwar has the capacity to understand global finance and economics. Or much of anything else.

Ok lah here are my closing remarks.
Brader Anwar is a lost cause nut job.

Here are THREE factual statements.

1.   Over 40 years he could never gain enough support.
2.  Especially when it involved playing on a more level playing field (ie after being kicked out of UMNO in 1998).
3. Despite Dr Mahathir resigning and getting out of his way the Brader could not even assemble 112 MPs on his side.

These are facts. Over 40 years the Brader was never able to gain enough support.

Ok here is my closing blockbuster. This is just a very, very brief gist.

There is one huge POSITIVE and one huge NEGATIVE which have kept Brader Anwar from becoming prime minister.

Lets call them POSITIVE A and NEGATIVE B.
There is no need to worry about the POSITIVE A.

To become the prime minister, Brader Anwar need only change the NEGATIVE B into a POSITIVE. Which he can easily do. It is risky but it is very easy to do. And within his capacity.

If he can do that, then he can be prime minister.
Itu saja cerita suspense untuk petang ini.
