Annuar Musa: 'Adorable' of Wan Azizah to love her husband so much she only remembers his name

 

PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Annuar Musa has taken a swipe at Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, saying that it was "adorable" of her to love her husband so much that she only remembers Anwar's name which sounds similar to his.

On Sept 26, Dr Wan Azizah told reporters to "ask Annuar Musa" after she was asked to comment on the allegation by Annuar that PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had been "fishing" for the next general election when claiming to have the majority support to be the next prime minister.

"It is obvious she loves the name 'Anwar' very much. That's adorable. She must be thinking of Anwar all the time that she mentioned my name 'Annuar'," said the Federal Territories Minister.

He also said that he had no idea why Dr Wan Azizah told the media to ask him about the issue.

"My concern now is fighting the Covid-19 pandemic and not politicking, as well as working with Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as a team," said Annuar.

On Sept 23, Anwar held a press conference announcing that he had the numbers to form the next government and that the government led by Muhyiddn had fallen.

However, he had yet to meet the Yang di-Pertuan Agung when he made the announcement.

Annuar then said in a tweet that Anwar's announcement was merely a tool to get Muhyiddin to call for a snap election. - Star
