YOURSAY | What ‘kamikaze’ are you talking about, Puad?

YOURSAY | ‘Umno committed suicide the moment it got Budget 2021 approved.’

Puad urges BN MPs to 'kamikaze' and overthrow PM over i-Sinar, moratorium

Jetson: Easier said than done by someone who does not hold any elected representative position.

Who is Umno supreme council member Puad Zarkashi expecting would sacrifice their positions and benefits?

Who would give up lucrative positions and hope for some of the RM300 billion federal budget to come their way? Only a fool would. What ‘kamikaze’ are you talking about, Puad?

‘Kamikaze’? Umno committed suicide the moment it got Budget 2021 approved. It committed suicide the moment it put hundreds of billions of ringgit in the hands of Bersatu to use as they deem fit.

Their man is in charge of the Treasury, and it will only be released once the finance minister is assured of where the funds are going to.

Secondly, there are Umno ministers and MPs would prefer to support Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin as their leader due to the positions and perks they are enjoying. So, the actual number of Umno MPs left on your side of the party are actually very few.

The fact is, this budget is set to prepare Bersatu, together with PAS, to win as many safe seats as possible in the 15th general election.

In the urban areas where Umno may be fighting in, PAS and Bersatu have prepared them for an uphill battle due to their actions and statements made to stir up the wrath of the non-Malays.

So, a ‘kamikaze’ has already been prepared in GE15 for the Umno MPs who remain a thorn in the side of Muhyiddin’s leadership.

Doc: With all the ultimatums and threats made by former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak, but when it was crunch time, ‘Bossku’ tucked his tail between his legs and voted for Muhyiddin’s Budget 2021.

XoXo: These latest antics by Umno by now should sound stale and hollow.

Umno is just out to manipulate the desperados in Pakatan Harapan, as well as to squeeze and extract every pound of flesh from the power-grabbing prime minister.

Umno leaders only exploit the Malay masses for their own benefit. Do they really care about how the Malay masses suffer? Just look at Tabung Haji, Felda, etc.

Umno has already stated that they will never work with DAP. Is this possible under the present circumstances where DAP has more or less the same number of MPs as Umno in the present Parliament?

The desperados in Harapan should let Umno ‘shiok sendiri. Get real and move on.

GrayFalcon6142: Whatever words that are coming out from BN leaders’ mouths now will no longer be viewed as having good intentions to benefit the rakyat.

The general perception is that they are shouting loudly to be noticed and to get benefits and generous gifts from Muhyiddin.

The more words coming out from Puad, former Johor menteri besar Khaled Nordin, former Pulai MP Nur Jazlan Mohamed, Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, or former Negeri Sembilan menteri besar Mohamad Hasan, the more annoying they sound. They just want more and more for themselves from the government.

Even Harapan politicians should ignore them, or they might fall into a political trap again. These are a bunch of BN jokers who have been sidelined by their own party, so let’s let them be.

BrownFalcon4984: Umno MPs want positions and perks. That is actually what is important, not i-Sinar.

Umno had a chance at the budget session, but they played out opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim. Now no one will trust Umno.

Salvage Malaysia: Bersatu’s hardline stance so far is because their reading is that BN MPs won’t have the guts to ‘kamikaze’ and give up the perks they are enjoying now.

And guess what? Muhyiddin has been right on the dot thus far. Those BN MPs with perks and positions don’t care about the rakyat, they only care for themselves.

Have fun convincing them to pull out from Perikatan Nasional (PN).

Heron: Puad’s declared interest and intention has merit in the argument pertaining to the many reasons for appropriately testing the legitimacy of PN.

The nation would be well-served by a general election as that would lend credit to whoever gains a majority and remove the alleged stain.

Malaysian1: A Harapan government is still the nation’s best bet. Efficient, lean, and progressive. It was ‘kamikaze’ to overthrow it. Now you can do a double-kamikaze now. It’s really pathetic.

Have you ever stopped to consider Employees Provident Fund’s (EPF) reasoning on i-Sinar? You are just looking for an excuse to create trouble. Any new government must be Harapan or Harapan Plus.

WhiteKnight7895: Puad and Umno are starting a new game for our year-end amusement, and their demands sound so stupid and pathetic.

You first overthrew a legally-elected Harapan federal government with traitors jumping ship, all to form PN by throwing your support behind Bersatu goons.

Despite all the weaknesses of Budget 2021, your unethical MPs went all out to support the unfair, unjust, racial, and discriminatory budget. And now, you are talking rubbish by demanding to withdraw support to bring down PN!

You pea-brained Umno politicians must think that the rakyat is a bunch of fools to trust an unprincipled party that is filled with a bunch of clowns and corrupted criminals awaiting sentencing.

You Umno elites should go ahead and ‘kamikaze’ en bloc. This is what you get for supporting Muhyiddin and his bandits who betrayed the trust of the rakyat - the rakyat who elected a legitimate Harapan government.

Note to Harapan, please stay out of this entrapment by holding back from issuing any comments and enjoy the year-end holidays peacefully. - Mkini
