Walk-in jabs for those aged 40 and above from Aug 2 in Klang Valley

Those unable to get the vaccine on the day they turn up will be given priority the next day.

PETALING JAYA: Walk-in vaccinations will be open to Klang Valley citizens aged 40 and above from Aug 2, says science, technology and innovation minister Khairy Jamaluddin.

In a press conference today, he also said walk-in vaccinations will be expanded to include everyone aged 18 and above from Aug 5.

“This will be on a first-come first-serve basis, depending on the capacity of the PPV (vaccination centre),” said the coordinating minister for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

“Those who do not get (to receive their vaccine) will be given priority for the next day.”
