IGP to stay on for two more years

Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani, who was supposed to retire next month, has been given a two-year contract to stay on as IGP.

PETALING JAYA: Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani will stay on as the country’s top cop for two more years.

According to a Bernama report, home minister Hamzah Zainudin said Acryl Sani, who was supposed to retire in October, has been appointed on a contract basis for two years.

Acryl Sani was appointed IGP on April 30, replacing Abdul Hamid Bador.
