DAP's Chinese Opera : PH Already Rethought MoU. Its All Good. PM No Need To Keep Word

  • Lim Kit Siang said PH to decide whether to continue MoU with PM
  • MoU to stop “political frog-jumping”
  • MoU to enact legislation to ban ‘political frogs’ early 2022.
  • If law not passed (between Feb 28 and March 24), Ismail reneging MoU
  • since MoU, “critical differences” between PH and govt emerged
  • rule of law, governance, corruption, human rights, free speech
  • “Malaysia’s final week of infamy 2021”
  • disastrous mismanagement of massive floods
  • PR stunts of no benefit to any flood victim
  • Rina Harun using water jet to wash clean pavement
  • prime minister and Cabinet joke fodders
  • appearance of Najib at Economic Forum
  • resignation of economist Edmund Terence Gomez from MACC

My comments :

The DAP has just got their butts kicked in Melaka and Sarawak. Believe me, at the next general elections the DAP is going to get their butts kicked even more. Ismail Sabri and UMNO/BN understand this very well.

The Chinese are teaching the DAP a lesson. For 22 months from May 2018 until Feb 2020 you were in power. What did you do? Nothing much.  The DAP should have put your foot down (at the cost of pulling out of the PH coalition) and insisted that the toll roads be abolished or seriously reduced. A 30% reduction in tolls was possible. (No less than a Former Finance Minister told me this personally). This would have benefited the people. The DAP did no such thing.

The DAP should have put their foot down and reduced the whole spectrum of import duties, levies, taxes and APs on ALL motor vehicles such that prices of motor vehicles match world market prices.  This would have benefited the people. The DAP did no such thing.

The DAP should have put their foot down and made sure that the Sedition Act was abolished. This would have benefited the people. The DAP did no such thing.

Now the DAP has got kicked out of Melaka and Sarawak.

So the DAP will NOT be rethinking the MoU with the PM and the government. The DAP is not in a position to rethink anything.

It is just wayang China.
