KUALA LUMPUR: Several residential units at the Flat Sri Johor in Cheras, here, were destroyed in a fire tonight.

A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department here when contacted confirmed the incident and said a media statement would be issued soon.

"Yes, it is true that there was a fire. We will share the media statement soon," he said, adding that firefighters are currently on the ground attempting to put out the blaze. - NST
