When Chinese Gang Up On BN, They Lose

The non-Malays and non-Muslims should stop grumbling. They are the ones proudly boasting that they have 97% Chinese support. They are the ones who kicked PAS out of Pakatan Rakyat and into the arms of Umno. And these are the consequences of your actions. So stop playing the victim. You fooking created the problem.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

I do not agree with the arguments in Finance Twitter’s article publish by KTemoc Konsiders today (PAS “Iranian Revolution” In Malaysia – Why Sultan Selangor Bans Politicians From Preaching Islam).

The arguments are conclusions from an Islamophobic and anti-Islam perspective. It is like a Nazi writing about Israel and the Jews. For sure the Nazi chap will be condemning Israel, the Jews and Judaism like crazy. Would you expect the Nazis to sing the praises of the Jews and Israel?

But it is good to read what the anti-Umno, anti-PAS, anti-Malay, and anti-Islam people say and to understand how they think. However, it is not like what they have to say is something new. This has always been how they look at the Malays and Muslims — whether Umno, PAS, Bersatu or whatever — from way back. Nothing has changed.

I just want to refer to the first paragraph of that most biased Islamophobic article:

When Barisan Nasional coalition, which had ruled for 61 years since independence in 1957, was defeated in the May 2018 General Election, Malaysia became worse. This is due to the new alliance between Malay ultras (UMNO) and Muslim extremists (PAS) who joined forces to undermine the democratically-elected multiracial Pakatan Harapan government.

Now, this is something I have warned about for a very long time. Even back in the 1980s I had said the Chinese need Barisan Nasional. Barisan Nasional represents multi-culturalism (multi-racial and multi-religious). If Barisan Nasional is kicked out, it would be the non-Malays and the non-Muslims who lose. The Malays-Muslims lose nothing because they are the majority anyway.

When Barisan Alternatif was formed in 1999, I said PAS must be included (PAS was almost not included). If it was just PKR, DAP and PRM minus PAS, it would not work. The Malays will support Barisan Nasional, not Barisan Alternatif.

The final blow to multi-culturalism politics came when DAP kicked PAS out of Pakatan Rakyat in 2015 due to a quarrel over the post of Selangor Menteri Besar. DAP wanted Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail while PAS supported His Highness the Sultan of Selangor’s choice, Azmin Ali.

I said, by attacking PAS and by kicking PAS out of Pakatan Rakyat, DAP is pushing PAS into the arms of Umno. Big mistake!

Whether you agree or disagree with Finance Twitter’s article — PAS “Iranian Revolution” In Malaysia – Why Sultan Selangor Bans Politicians From Preaching Islam — you have to accept the fact that the increased racial-religious divide in Malaysia is DAP’s fault.

PAS in Pakatan Rakyat was a balancing factor. By kicking PAS out of Pakatan Rakyat, and hence pushing PAS into the arms of Umno, DAP created a new Malay bloc of Umno, PAS, and Bersatu. DAP should have split the Malays instead of uniting the Malays. Big mistake!
