Covid-19 (Feb 5): 9,117 cases, highest since Oct 8

 

COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 9,117 new Covid-19 cases today, bringing the cumulative infections to 2,904,131.

The fresh infections are the highest in 120 days, since Oct 8 last year.

The Health Ministry will only publish today's breakdown of new cases by states after midnight on its CovidNow portal.

The breakdown by states for yesterday (Feb 4), where 7,234 new cases were reported, is as follows:
