National infectivity value (RT) at 1.15

KUALA LUMPUR: The national infectivity rate or Rt value remained at 1.15 yesterday (Feb 1).

Health-director Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah who shared the data said five states and a federal territory surpassed the national rate, with Perlis recording the highest Rt value at 1.29, followed by Putrajaya (1.21), Johor (1.17) and in Penang, Kedah and Sabah (1.16),

The Rt value in Negri Sembilan was recorded at 1.13, followed by Melaka and Selangor (both at 1.12), Kuala Lumpur (1.11), Kelantan (1.10), Perak (1.07), Pahang (1.04) and Terengganu (1.00),

Sarawak reported 17 daily Covid-19 cases and Labuan with three cases.

The Rt value on Monday also stood at 1.15, while on Sunday at 1.14. - NST
