PETALING JAYA: The bodies of two teenagers – a male and a female both aged 19 – were found in a Toyota Alphard at the car park of an apartment building in Cheras, but police are discounting any foul play at the moment.

District police chief Idzam Jaafar said they received a call on Sunday informing them that there were two bodies, who were supposedly friends, inside the multipurpose vehicle.

The car was parked at an apartment block in Bandar Sri Permaisuri, Cheras.

“The male was found in the front next to the driver’s seat while the female was in the passenger seat behind (him).

“Checks on their remains as well as the surroundings found that there were no criminal elements involved,” Idzam said.

He said the remains were taken to Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM for post-mortem.

“The case has been classified as sudden death and investigations are ongoing,” he said.

Police have asked those with information to assist them in their investigation. They may call 03-9284-5050 or 03-9284-5051, as well as the Kuala Lumpur police hotline at 03-2115-9999.

On Monday, a 28-year-old man was found dead in the driver’s seat of a luxury sports car outside a nightclub in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur.

Firefighters had to force open the door of the car, believed to be a McLaren 720s, and a medical team reported that the man was dead.

Police found no traces of injury on the body and the case was classified as one of sudden death. - FMT
