COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 1,946 new Covid-19 cases yesterday.
Active infections stood at 31,568, down 22.5 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Another eight deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday in Johor (4) and Selangor (4).
Over the past week, an average of 7.3 people were reported to have died of Covid-19, while the average for the past 30 days was 8.2, indicating that such deaths are on the downtrend.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,206 deaths have been attributed to the disease.
There have been 237 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 204 deaths last month and 89 in June.
There are 1,312 Covid-19 patients hospitalised of which 75 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (117) followed by Johor (59) and Sabah (52). - Mkini
