PH using ‘new media’ to sway young Malay voters, claims Hadi

Last August, Abdul Hadi Awang claimed that a group of people who controlled the country’s economy had used their money to taint politics, the administration and the judiciary.

PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan (PH) is making use of “new media” to sway young Malay voters, says PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang, warning his allies against making light of the issue.

He also claimed that this “new media” is backed by those who “control the economy”, the Perikatan Nasional leader said in his latest salvo against PH.

“This represents a new form of colonising,” he said in a Facebook post this evening.

Hadi had in August said that a group of people who controlled the country’s economy had used their money to taint politics, the administration and the judiciary.

The former Marang MP also reiterated that the reason the Islamic party decided against working with PH was because the opposition coalition comprised individuals who were immoral and had taken and received bribes.

He went on to claim that those who had given bribes had escaped the long arm of the law, especially when PH was in power.

“It is time we come together to curb graft and stop the menace from becoming a pandemic,” he said. - FMT
