PETALING JAYA : Some 83 areas around Kuala Lumpur and Gombak are experiencing water cuts due to a burst pipe at the Bukit Indah Industrial Park in Sungai Buloh.
In a statement, Air Selangor said repair works are expected to be fully completed by 10pm tonight.
“Water will be supplied in stages to consumers’ premises once the repair works have been completed,” the water concessionaire said.
Air Selangor also said that it was deploying water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres and funeral parlours.

Yesterday, the Semenyih water treatment plant was shut down at 7pm due to odour pollution.
However, Air Selangor has yet to release the list of affected areas, promising to notify residents later. - FMT
