The Negeri Sembilan Pakatan Harapan and BN chapters will be drafting a joint election manifesto.
Negeri Sembilan Harapan chairperson Aminuddin Harun said the document will be drawn up by a special joint committee that will also organise the pact's campaign.
According to Utusan Malaysia, Aminuddin and his BN counterpart Jalaluddin Alias will be on the committee.
The pacts have agreed that Harapan will field 20 candidates in Negeri Sembilan while BN will field the remaining 16 candidates.
However, BN is lobbying for two more, making it even for both coalitions.
The Negeri Sembilan legislative assembly is expected to dissolve on July 1.
Meanwhile, Aminuddin (above), the outgoing Negeri Sembilan menteri besar, claimed his administration had fulfilled 97 percent of its election promises.
Malaysiakini cannot independently verify this claim.
He said the unfulfilled pledges involved federal government law, such as Harapan's promise for more maternity leave.
"We have used the past five years to develop the state earnestly to ensure that we fulfil our promises and 97 percent of our manifesto has been fulfilled," he said, according to Astro Awani. - Mkini
