KUALA LUMPUR: A man claimed that he suffered from 'medical negligence' when seeking treatment at a government hospital.
In a Facebook post, Zaslan Zeeha Zainee shared a photo of his adult diaper that was completely soaked in blood.
"The hospital staff pulled on my catheter from my private area without considering the pain it would cause me, resulting in injury and heavy bleeding from my urinary tract.
"They say it is normal, (but) you can see how much I bleed, when I urinate. Everytime I urinate, I feel excruciating pain," he wrote.
Checks on the comment section saw Zaslan had lodged a report with the Public Complaints Management System (SISPAA).
He also said the staff involved and the hospital offered no apology over the incident.
New Straits Times has reached out to the Health Ministry for comments and is awaiting reply. - NST
