A Sermon (of sorts) By Sam The CEO

 

This has gone viral since yesterday. It is written by a friend of mine, Sam the CEO or Sam the Oilman.

A Sermon for Awal Muharam

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

I have always been an unemotional critical thinker from the days I was a young boy. I realised being bullied for being ugly, having a dark skin, scrawny and not being a bright student is something I had to overcome by working hard to do better than others. I don't mope, seek revenge or play the victim. I learnt that at 11 years old. I don't care what you think of me or do to me. I care what I make of myself and what I can achieve for my future.

So if Muslims feel they are victims - then they deserve it because for centuries now they have no one to blame but themselves. Are they excelling in science and technology or are they playing victims and blaming others for going to wars and being colonised? Are they seeking peace, compromise, accepting what is now and working to better themselves instead of seeking revenge and then play victims when retribution arrives?

I look at the palestinian issue and I want to v-mit. Muslims were conquerors and colonisers since the 7th century. There is a reason we called it the age of the Islamic Empire and it stretched all the way from India, to Persia to Spain. It was an Arab empire fueled by religious jihad. We did that first before the Portugese sailed the seas and spread christianity. So don't behave like we are a religion of peace. The DNA runs deep.

From the Bronze Age, the Canaanites had city-states in that area of palestine. In the Iron Age, the Israelite kingdoms of Israel and Judah, controlled much of it, while the Philistines occupied its southern coast. Islam was yet to exist! Then came Assyrians and then the Babylonians that sent the Jews into slavery during the time of Moses.

The arabs conquered and colonised palestine from the original people and built a mosque on top of the Temple Mount. There have been wars and crusades ever since. The fact that the Ottoman Empire sided with Germany and lost WWI and had to submit to the British mandate is another fact of the consequences of being the losers among warring colonial powers. And I am not even judging who is right or who is wrong. It just is. Who cares. Every war will have its victims. Men, women, the elderly and children. So don't show me photos of war victims. I DON'T CARE. You kill people, they kill you. And vice versa. NOBODY CARES. So get your act together. 

ALL the Arab nations did not accept the consequences of losing the Ottoman Empire in WWI and went to war with Israel in 1948, 1967 etc. In 1967 Israel beat ALL of them in six days. And you still think Hamas or whatever comes next can obliterate Israel today. Dream on. You have no technology, no science or civilization - it means you lose.

JUST STOP IT ALREADY. Work at bettering yourself ANYWHERE you can. Not go to Europe and try to bring your sh-t hole culture there to the point people there get sick of you. Stop your whining and moaning. Be a modern, civilised and scientific people.
