NASA IN DEEP SHIT. REFUSE COOPERATING WITH RUSSIA TO SAVE ASTRONAUTS.

 Since June 5th, 2024 a disaster has been unfolding with NASA's latest crewed mission to the International Space Station or ISS. 

On June 5th, two NASA astronauts Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams traveled to the space station aboard the Boeing Starliner capsule for what was initially supposed to be a 10-day mission. The next day June 6th, the Boeing made space ship suffered technical breakdowns. Five out of 28 thrusters failed to function.

The mission was scheduled to return back on 14th June, 2024.  50 days later (today 25th July) the two astronauts are still stuck in space with no clear indication when they can return to earth.

In the meantime NASA has been making silly statements like:

• They have since been reassigned to performing maintenance tasks 
• while they await confirmation on their planned return flight  
  
• return date pushed back several times to allow engineers to understand failure

Here is a graphic of the ISS. The ISS was set up 26 years ago in 1998. It has two main components the American portion and the Russian portion.  

 

If needed the two astronauts can remain on the ISS for six months or longer. 

The problem is NASA cannot work out a solution on how to get them back safely to earth. NASA cannot confirm their return flight. NASA will be hosting a Press Conference today (25 th July 2024) to update the public about this disaster.

Others have suggested that NASA should work with the Russians who have the capacity to launch a rescue mission to the ISS to bring back the two stranded astronauts. But  Russia is now the bad boy. Any cooperation with Russia will be a serious slap in the face for the Americans.

Lets see what happens.
