Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain said the 24 included the wife and three children of a top GISBH figure, Bernama reported.
Razarudin was quoted as saying.All of them were remanded again following a police report lodged by a victim in Cheras. The alleged victim claimed he had been exploited and did not receive a salary while working at the company,
Razarudin said the alleged victims, aged 14 to 20, are in Miri, Sarawak; Rawang, Selangor; and Alor Setar, Kedah.
Police reports have been lodged against GISBH members, alleging the use of forced labour between 2013 and 2024. The company is also being investigated for child abuse after 572 children were rescued from welfare homes and the residences of GISBH members earlier this month.
A total of 359 GISBH members have been arrested so far. - FMT
