PETALING JAYA
A Palestinian woman in a video that went viral has issued an apology for causing a commotion at the Wisma Transit in Kuala Lumpur two days ago.

A TikTok user with the handle TahreerGh posted the video of Aminah Nafi Jamal Abd Rabah making the apology at around 11.30pm last night.

In the video, the woman expressed regret for her actions and explained that she was experiencing a very difficult time following the deaths of three of her children.

She said she had also been unable to contact or receive any news about her other children who are still in Gaza.

“I apologise for what I have done. Seriously, you are good, kind-hearted people who respect others, and we thank you for welcoming us to your country.

She expressed gratitude and appreciation for the kind treatment provided by all Malaysians in helping them.

“You have treated us with kindness, respect, and appreciation. You have performed your duties responsibly, but we have wronged you (the people of Malaysia).

I swear by the name of Allah and once again, with deep regret, I apologise to you for what I did. Thank you,
 she said repeatedly.

Last Friday, Palestine’s ambassador to Malaysia Walid Abu Ali said an altercation between security personnel at Wisma Transit and Palestinians who are staying there had been resolved.

Expressing regret over the incident involving two Palestinian women, which had gone viral, Walid said it did not reflect the conduct of Palestinians in general.

According to Walid, the women had reacted emotionally out of frustration at not being allowed to leave the centre freely due to safety reasons.

Aminah and over 100 injured Palestinian civilians arrived in Malaysia on Aug 16 to receive medical treatment in the country, following the Israeli attacks on Gaza last year. - FMT
